【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesguidelinesforspecifyingseismicactionsfordesigninggeotechnicalworks,includingburiedstructures(e.g.buriedtunnels,boxculverts,pipelinesandundergroundstoragefacilities),foundations(e.g.shallowanddeepfoundations,andundergrounddiaphragmwalls),retainingwalls(e.g.soilretainingandquaywalls),pile-supportedwharvesandpiers,earthstructures(e.g.earthandrockfilldamsandembankments),gravitydams,landfillandwastesites.NOTETheguidelinesprovidedinthisInternationalStandardaregeneralenoughtobeapplicableforbothnewandexistinggeotechnicalworks.However,foruseinpractice,proceduresmorespecifictoexistinggeotechnicalworkscanbeneeded,suchasthosedescribedforexistingstructuresinISO13822.
