【摘要】:1.1.1ThisStandardcoversthecompletedimensionalandgeneraldataforcontinuous-threadanddouble-endmetricseriesstudsrecognizedasanAmericanNationalStandard.Thefollowingconfigurationsarecovered:continuous-threadstud:studsthatarethreadedovertheircompletelength.double-endstud(clamping-type):studswithscrewthreadsofthesamelengthandconfigurationoneachend.Thistypeofstudservesthefunctionofclampingtwobodiestogetherwithanutoneachend.double-endstud(tap-endtype):astuddesignedtobeinstalledinatappedholeandusuallywithdifferentthreadedlengthsoneachend.Thetap-endstudscoveredbythisStandardhavethesamethreadformoneachendwiththelengthofthetap-endthreadsequaltoapproximately11?2timesthenominalthreaddiameter.NOTE:Bothtypesofdouble-endstudsinthisStandardmaybeinstalledwithanutoneachend.Similarly,oneendofeachtypemaybesetinatappedhole,usuallywithalockingcompound.Double-endstudsofthefollowingbodydiametersarecovered:(a)reduced-diameterbody.Seepara.6.1fordimensions.(b)fullbody.Seepara.6.2fordimensions.1.1.2TheinclusionofdimensionaldatainthisStandardisnotintendedtoimplythatallproductsdescribedarestockproductionitems.Consumersshouldconsultwithsuppliersconcerningavailabilityofproducts.
